By on 01 May 2019

Major construction activities are set to begin on the $158 million Brisbane International Cruise Terminal at the Port of Brisbane, Queensland.

Two principal contractors were announced in February of this year to deliver the multi-million dollar project – Brady Marine and Civil. Both contractors will undertake wharf construction while Hindmarsh will deliver civil works and construction of the terminal building.

The project is supporting an average of 245 jobs each year during construction and an additional 49 jobs will be generated each year over the next 20 years.

In time for the 2020/21 cruising season, the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal is expected to begin operations in 2020.
