Following the completion of Stage 1 of the Echuca to Moama Bridge project which delivered upgrades to Murray Valley Highway and Warren Street roundabout, construction on Stage 2 of the project is now underway.

Included in the scope of works of Stage 2 are upgrading and widening Warren Street, construction of four new flood relief bridges, dedicated and residential service roads as well as turning lanes at intersections and roundabout that will connect to the new Murray River crossing. Also, as the project is aiming to give locals safer and easier access to properties, it will soon deliver new service roads and extended turning lanes into Homan Street and the Echuca cemetery.

With new service roads, extended turning lanes, pedestrian and cycling paths, the upgrades will also be improving access and safety for locals passing through the route.

The Stage 2 of the project is set to be completed in late 2019.
