Lendlease to deliver next phase of Gold Coast Airport redevelopment

With the appointment of Lendlease as the contractor, the next phase of the Gold Coast Airport’s $370 million redevelopment, also known as Project LIFT, is one step closer to construction.
The project is set to open up the airport and improve its capacity for future growth in passenger volume as Lendlease will be delivering a three-level terminal together with aerobridges south of the existing airport facility.
The redevelopment project aims to benefit not only the passengers going in and out of Gold Coast but also the local construction industry, with more than a thousand jobs to be supported during the delivery phase.
Upon completion, the existing terminal’s floor area will be doubled by the new addition, offering more flexibility when providing services to domestic and international flights when the need arises.
