Mount Lindesay Highway major upgrades now in progress

The North Maclean section of the Mount Lindesay Highway, south of Brisbane, is set for an upgrade as works are now underway to improve highway safety.
The community will be connected with the new service road linking St Aldwyn Road and Wearing Road with a new signalised intersection on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Greenbank Road, once the Greenbank intersection is complete. With new signals enhancing safety for more than 20,000 vehicles per day, the jointly funded project would improve traffic conditions at North Maclean.
The project is jointly funded by the Australian Government committing $16 million and the Queensland Government committing the remainder amount.
Weather permitting, this section of the Mount Lindesay Highway Upgrade is expected to be completed by early 2020.
