NSW Budget Thriving
By Natalie Carn on 04 July 2017
The NSW Budget has lifted infrastructure based funding, to its highest ever levels, according to data released this week. This spending is well above the decade average.
They have doubled backing for new hospitals and put in large amounts of funding for new schools, along with the already huge of investment within transport happening across NSW already.
$1 billion reserved for the Western Harbour Tunnel and southern Sydney’s F6 motorway are excellent signals that NSW will enjoy an ongoing flow of major transport projects in the coming years.
The NSW and Victorian budgets are good examples to go by for other Treasurer’s around the country, since both states show what a real ‘infrastructure budget’ looks like.
