The development of Stage 1 for the Inner City College project in Subiaco has gained approval while planning continues for other Subi East projects including Princess Margaret Hospital and Oval.
To transform Subi East into a vibrant new education, leisure, residential and community destination on the fringe of the Perth central business district, the future 2,000-student school is a key element of plans.
Included in the first stage of the school are health and physical education, technologies and science and student services, with facilities including cafeteria, library and lecture theatres. In addition, integrated throughout with sporting hard courts are spaces for socialising and recreation such as amphitheatre and landscaped courtyards.
With construction of the state-of-the-art secondary facility due to commence next month, forward works are progressing well at the school’s iconic location, next to Subiaco Oval.
